Fifty Fifty Me Challenge: Book Update
Well, I’ve watch well over one hundred movies, so I’ve met accomplished half of the fifty fifty me challenge: read 50 books and watch 50 movies in 2012.
I am quite possibly the world’s worst example of an assistant manager of library service at an academic library, for I have only read 19 books so far this year. That does not include the numerous comic books, graphic novels, and comic book TPBS I’ve read. Still, I’ve got my work cut out for me.
Here’s my book list thus far:
- 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami
- Birnbaum’s Disneyland 2012 by Jill Safro
- The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Annie Barrows, Mary Ann Shaffer
- Drinking with Strangers: Music Lessons from a Teenage Bullet Belt by Butch Walker (with Matt Diehl)
- Matched by Ally Condie
- The Brinkley Girls: The Best of Nell Brinkley’s Cartoons from 1913-1940

- Out of Oz by Gregory Maguire
- Death’s Daughter (Calliope Reaper-Jones, #1) by Amber Benson
